Adult Formation
Adults at Nativity have several options to help deepen their faith.
Sunday Morning Adult Education. From 11:25 to noon each Sunday, Pastor Susan leads our adults in a topical exploration of the stories and traditions of our faith. Our first series this fall will be:
From Maintenance to Mission: The Book of Acts. How did a group of frightened, demoralized disciples turn into a band of missionaries that changed the world? How do the spiritual lessons of the earliest church affect our lives and our mission today? Join us for this 8-week study of the Book of Acts, co-written by Pastor Susan with the Rev. Canon Chuck Robertson. Sunday mornings after church.
The No-Study Bible Study. The Fall session of the No-Study Bible Study will meet the 1st & 3rd Wed. of each month beginning at 4:00 p.m. Sept. 19, 2007. We watch a 20 minute DVD followed by discussion. Snacks are provided by the participants. We meet at the Bonnstetter residence at 8923 E. Robert Hunter Dr., Scottsdale. Education for Ministry. Would you like to delve deeper into our Christian Tradition and find out how God might be calling you to ministry in your daily life? We will be starting two EFM groups this fall at Nativity. For more information about this amazing educational program, go to http://www.sewanee.edu/EFM/index.htm.

Growing in faith is a lifelong process, involving lifelong learning. We hope to provide several options for adults to increase their knowledge and answer their questions about God's relationship to and love for humans.
Adult education takes place each Sunday after the 10:00 service.
